Rosanne had a few words after The Connors aired last night...
Rosanne Barr stated that she would not be watching the premiere of The Connors, but appeared to be aware of what happened to her on the series.
A complete statement was released by her friend Rabbi Shmuley Boteach on his Facebook page and had thoughts about how ABC handled the situation saying:
"We regret that ABC chose to cancel Rosanne by killing off the Roseanne Conner character. That it was done through an opioid overdose lent an unnecessary grim and morbid dimension to an otherwise happy family show. This was a choice the network did not have to make."
